PILATES
Pilates is a corrective exercise method created by Joseph Pilates. It emphasizes the optimal alignment of your spine & pelvis & focuses on integrating breath with movement. Pilates method works the stronger deep muscles of the body instead of building just the weaker superficial muscles.
All this makes Pilates-evolved exercises an effective method of movement re-education & can be a great tool to prevent injuries and to also rehabilitate from an existing one.
Elite Athletes across the world have made Pilates a part of their training routine. The resistance offered by the spring tension in the various Pilates equipment mimics the tensional components of our connective tissue and may activate & aid in its regeneration.
“In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference, in 20 you’ll see the difference and in 30 you’ll have a whole new body”
– Joseph Pilates
